LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 6.81 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4108.31 and closed at 4115.12 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 6.546 million shares to close against previous turnover of 5.025 million shares, showing a upward move of 1.521 million shares. While, out of the total 105 active scrips, 37 moved up, 21 shed values and 47 remained equal.
Unilever Pakistan Limited, Engro Foods Limited and Cherat Cement Company Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 5.00, Rs. 3.99 and Rs. 2.36 respectively. Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Kohinoor Textile Mills and Habib Bank Limited lost their per share value by Re 1.00, Re 0.82 and Re 0.50 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 2.289 million shares, Karachi Electric Supply Company with 440,500 shares and Dewan Cement Limited with 405,000 shares.
