KARACHI: Gold slipped by Rs 257 to close at Rs 48,771 per 10 grams in the local market Monday as its international price dropped to $ 1,591 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also plunged by Rs 300 to Rs 56,900.
Silver closed unchanged at Rs 818.57 per 10 grams.
