Gold slips to Rs49,842

goldbars KARACHI: Gold slipped by Rs129 to close at Rs49,842 per 10 grams in the local market Friday as its international price improved to $ 1,625 an ounce, market sources said.

According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also dipped by Rs150 to Rs58,150.

However, silver closed higher at Rs990 per 10 grams.
