ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Wednesday issued price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets are as follows:
Potato Rs.24 per Kg, Onion Rs.32, Tomato 22, Ginger Rs.80, Garlic Rs.150, Garlic (China) Rs.150, Lemon Rs.220, Lady Finger Rs.44, Pumpkin Rs.35, Brinjal Rs.35, Peas Rs.110, Farsh Bean Rs.88, Tanda Walaiti Rs.45/45, Cucumber Rs.35, Capsicum Rs.45/40, Green Chilli Rs.50, Cauliflower Rs. 65/55, Cabbage Rs.24, Bitter gourd Rs.42, Spinach Rs.30/24, Raddish Rs.30/22, Maroo Rs.28, Yam Rs.88, Carrot Rs.45/35, Chicken Rs.157 per Kg and Egg per dozen Rs. 68.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs.160/120, Apple White Rs.90/60, Apple Ambri Rs. 80/50, Banana Pak Rs.118/80, Banana Ind, Rs.170 /148, Pear China Rs.165/130, Garma Rs. 130/110, Apricot Rs. 115/110, Apple Irani Rs. 160/120, Apple China Rs. 220/290, Strawberry Rs.220/180, Melon Rs. 24/18, Serboza Rs. 46/55, Watermelon Rs. 20/15, Mango Sundari Rs. 125/80, Mango Almas Rs. 85/70 and Peach Rs. 145/110.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
