LHC drops disciplinary proceedings against 5 judicial officers

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has dropped disciplinary proceedings against five judicial officers.

The judicial officers include Additional District & Sessions Judge Muhammad Tamar Hayat, Additional District & Sessions Judge Sadaqat Ullah Khan, Senior Civil Judge Malik Abid Hussain and Civil Judge Class-1 Muhammad Akram Nawab.

Similarly, disciplinary proceedings against Ex-Civil Judge Muhammad Younas Awan have also been abated as the authority has accepted his resignation from May 5, 2014.
