LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 6.74 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5738.22 points and closed at 5731.48 points.
The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 641,800 shares to close against previous turnover of 1.077 million shares, showing an upward move of 435,700 shares. While, out of the total 69 active scrips, only 5 moved up, 19 shed values and 45 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim, Engro Fertilizers Limited and Lafarge Pakistan Cement by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 1.10, Re 0.99 and Re 0.19 respectively.
Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Engro Corporation Limited, and Hascol Petroleum Limited lost their per share value by Rs 9.73, Rs 7.20 and Rs 2.22 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Askari Bank Limited with 200,000 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 200,000 shares and Pakistan International Airline with 65,000 shares.
