LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 116.70 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5886.57 points and closed at 6003.27 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.461 million shares to close against previous turnover of 968,070 shares, showing an upward move of 1.493 million shares. While, out of the total 121 active scrips 42 moved up, 13 shed values and 66 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Pakistan Refinery Limited, Treet Corporation Limited and Cherat Cement Company Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 7.39, Rs 4.61 and Rs 2.50 respectively.
Sitara Chemical Industries Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Mari Petroleum Company were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 3.11, Rs 2.00 and Rs 1.44 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 802,000 shares, Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 576,000 shares and NIB Bank Limited with 283,500 shares.
