imageLAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 0.44 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5273.20 points and closed at 5273.64 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.136 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.297 million shares, showing an upward move of 839,300 shares. While, out of the total 117 active scrips 47 moved up, 6 shed values and 64 remained equal.

The top three Major Gainers of the day were Atlas Battery Limited, Millat Tractors Limited and General Tyre and Rubber Company by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 20.58, Rs 8.73 and Rs 6.88 respectively.

Otsuka Pakistan Limited, Hascol Petroleum Limited and K-Electric Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 1.76, Rs 1.25 and Re 0.16 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Worldcall Telecom Limited with 735,000 shares, Lafarge Pakistan cement with 370,000 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 280,000 shares.
