LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 26.17 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4598.63 and closed at 4624.80 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 11.254 million shares to close against previous turnover of 6.918 million shares, showing an upward move of 4.335 million shares. While, out of the total 93 active scrips, 37 moved up, 43 remained equal with 13 shed values.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Engro Corporation Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 15.50, Rs 5.00 and Rs 2.87 respectively.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Engro Foods Limited and Arif Habib Corporation Limited lost their per share value by Rs 10.59, Rs 5.89 and Re 0.55 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab (R) with 4.576 million shares, KASB Bank Limited (Platinum) with 1.825 million shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.571 million shares.
