LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 6.48 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4145.94 and closed at 4152.42 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 5.00 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.384 million shares, showing an upward move of 2.616 million shares. While, out of the total 100 active scrips, 24 moved up, 59 remained equal with 17 down values.
Engro Corporation Limited, D.G.Khan Cement Company and Dawood Hercules Corporation were Major Gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 5.42, Rs 2.70 and Rs 2.35 respectively.
Adamjee Insurance Company, Pakistan Tele Communication Limited and National Bank of Pakistan lost their per share value by Re 0.91, Re 0.59 and Re 0.33.
The Volume Leader of the day included Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 2.862 million shares, World call Telecom Limited with 336,500 shares and NIB Bank Limited with 162,500 shares.
