ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Post is committed to make secure and timely delivery of mail, money and material at the doorstep of the customers at affordable cost.
This was stated by Director General Pakistan Post Syed Ghulam Panjtan Rizvi while talking to APP on Thursday.
He said that the department has a broad and varied role to play beyond provision of communication link for individuals and businesses.
He said that Pakistan Post is emphasizing in the use of new communication and information technologies to move beyond what is traditionally regarded as a its core postal business, keeping pace with the changing communications market.
"Letter mail is the basic traditional service of the department. Enjoying privilege over collection, conveyance and delivery, Pak Post ensures availability of affordable, reliable and a fast communication service to all segments of society across the country" he added.
