buses 400LAHORE: Lahore Transport Company (LTC) Chairman Khawaja Ahmed Hassan on Tuesday said the government was acquiring 1200 buses from China to provide comfortable transport to masses.

Talking to APP at his office, he said these air conditioned buses would ply in Lahore and some other cities of the province.

"Provision of modern transport facility would facilitate people in their day to day life routine.

To a question,Hassan said government has decided to give the facility of concessionial tickets to students at a flat rate of Rs 10. "Modern (cards) bus passes are also being designed," he added.

LTC Chairman said electronic ticketing system would also be offered to passengers.
