KARACHI: Shipping activity remained active at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours, where one ship carrying General Cargo was allotted berths at Multi Purpose Terminal on Tuesday.
Later three more ships carrying Containers and Iron Ore have to allot berths at Qasim International Containers Terminal and Iron Ore and Coal Terminal on the same day.
Berth occupancy was 35% at the Port Qasim on Tuesday where total number of four ships namely MV. Salta, BBC Seine, MV.Akaki and Chem Road Mega are currently occupying berths to load/offlad cement, general cargo, furnace oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 64,646 tonnes imports were handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
