IRSA releases more water from Tarbela

downlazsxISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) has increased water outflow from Tarbela Reservoirs by 5000 cusecs at the request of Sindh.

According to IRSA authorities, overall water release from Tarbela is at 30, 000 cusec, private news channel reported.

The water level in Tarbela is at 1467.06 feet while its inflow has been recorded at 14, 600 cusec.

In Mangla Dam, water level has been recorded at 1145.10 feet against the inflow of 6, 124 cusec.
