The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is all set to bring the Sindh police in the digital age, as it will provide its software to the Sindh government, in order to bring reforms in the police department.
Chairman PITB Dr. Umar Saif said in a statement that the following initiative is being taken on the instructions Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif.
The local media reported earlier, that Sindh Chief Secretary Siddique Memon has written a letter to the Punjab government to acquire a number of software being used by the Punjab police. The software includes the human resource management system, complaint system, police station record management system, criminal record office system and DIG operations system.
It was further learnt that PITB has also provided its assistance to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in this regard.
