ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Friday passed its budget of year 2014-15 with necessary amendments.
In a meeting chaired by Chairman PTA, Dr. Syed Ismail Shah and attended by its Member (Compliance & Enforcement) Zafarullah Khan, and Member (Finance), Tariq Sultan, the revised budget estimates of current year and also for next year were reviewed.
Besides other developmental activities, it was decided that special steps would be taken for betterment of staff of PTA.
A new scheme would be launched wherein on basis of performance through competition, cash rewards would be given to lower staff of each department as per rules.
