KARACHI: A ship carrying containers was berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal.
Meanwhile six more ships carrying containers, chemical, furnace oil and edible oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 20% at the port on Tuesday where only two ships namely Safmarine Ngami and SFL Yukon are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers and cement respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 25467 tonnes comprising 17115 tonnes imports and 83522 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1115 containers (TEUs) were handled at the port during last 24 hours.
