imageKARACHI: The Professional Development Centre at Riphah Institute of Systems Engineering (RISE) on Saturday announce one premier training program, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), in collaboration with the internationally renowned security certification body, EC-Council.

RISE is the first academic partner of EC-Council in Pakistan. CEH is one of the most popular and elevated hands-on Information Security Training in the World.

EC-Council is one of the leading Information Security certification bodies in the world with trainings in over 60 countries and has trained over 1,00,000 professionals as its alumini.

EC-Council's CEH certification is recognized by US governmental agencies like National Security Agency (NSA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS).

Under the collaboration, RISE offers the complete range of EC-Council certifications.

So far RISE has conducted 11 trainings across Pakistan (Islamabad, Lahore & Karachi) and has trained over 100 Information Security Professionals from various defense, strategic, multinational, financial, telecommunication and private sector organization from all over the world.

CEH certification will fortify the application knowledge of security officers, auditors, security professionals, site administrators, and anyone who is concerned about the integrity of the network infrastructure.

A CEH is a skilled professional who understands and knows how to look for the weaknesses and vulnerabilities in target systems and uses the same knowledge & tools as a malicious hacker.

CEH class will immerse the students into a hands-on environment where they will be shown how to conduct Ethical Hacking.

They will be exposed to an entirely different way of achieving optimal information security posture in their organization; "BY HACKING IT!" They will scan, test, hack and secure their own systems in a lab intensive environment giving each student an in-depth knowledge and practical experience with the current essential security systems.

The participants will learn how intruders escalate privileges and what steps can be taken to secure a system.

Other topics covered are reconnaissance , System Hacking, Web penetration testing, Social Engineering, Wireless hacking, DDoS Attacks, Buffer Overflows and others.
The CEH training will be conducted using the authorized EC-Council training material and will be taught by a Certified EC-Council instructor. The course prepares the participants for the CEH examination.

The objectives of the course is to attain technical skills over state-of-the-art penetration testing tools.

Develop capability to analyze network for vulnerabilities, develop ability to conduct internal security audit and penetration testing of computer networks.
