Shipping activity at Port Qasim

business-400KARACHI: One ship carrying containers was berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal on Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile five more ships carrying containers, canola seed and diesel oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was 35% at the Port on Wednesday where a total four ship namely AL Mutanabbi, Sea Gull-D, Mighty Ocean, Reecon Emre and Argent Daisy are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, steel, wheat and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 13386 tonnes comprising 6992 tonnes imports and 6394 tonnes exports was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
