OGRA asked to take action against high LPG price for consumers ISLAMABAD: All Pakistan Liquified Petroleum (LPG) Distributors Association on Friday called upon the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to take action against high LPG consumer price.The association's chairman Irfan Khokhar said a letter had been written to the OGRA chairman to issue a directive to all concerned departments and enforcement department OGRA to check whether the LPG was being sold to consumer at reasonable price or not and that whoever involved in this price hike should be strictly dealt with.It pointed out Producer Price was at Rs 75,000 per MT excl GST and transportation cost etc. but LPG is being sold at a very high price particularly in Rawalpindi and Islamabad and other cities all over the country.At present, LPG price is Rs 120 per Kg in Karachi-Hyderabad, Rs 135-140 per Kg in Lahore-Gujranwala-Multan and Rs 160 per Kg in Rawalpindi-Islamabad, the letter said.He said it would always be ...
