Full gas pressure demanded for textile industry FAISALABAD: The Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) has demanded the gas supply to the industry with full pressure, enabling exporters to fulfill their commitments with foreign buyers. Criticizing extreme low gas pressure to the Faisalabad industry here Monday, PTEA Chairman Asghar Ali and Vice Chairman Muhammad Asif said that low gas pressure had been hitting industrial production and the textile industry was unable to operate. They said that industrial units in different industrial clusters of Faisalabad like Khurarianwala, Sargodha Road and Sammundri Road were facing extremely low gas pressure which was severely affecting their production and they were unable to operate and keep over one million jobs. They said low pressure would cause the textile sector loss of one billion rupees every day in export revenues and value addition in the region.
