2 female students killed, 12 injured in road accident

sialkot-mapSIALKOT: Two female students of a local college were killed and 12 others sustained serious injuries in a road accident on Kh. Muhammad Safdar Road here on Saturday.


Reportedly, students of Nisa College Sialkot were coming to the college by a college bus when the overloaded bus rammed into a road divider.


As a result, many students fell down on the road and some were crushed under the wheels of the bus.


Two students namely Musadaqa daughter of Aman Ullah and Noureen daughter of Boota died on the spot.


While twelve other students including Iqra, Ayesha Anwar, Sidra Abdul Rehman, Mariyam Irshad, Farah Rustam Javeriya, Sanam Shehzadi, Ayisha, Rida, Arooj and others were injured seriously.


Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to Govternment Allama Iqbal Memorial DHQ Hospital, where the condition of four injured students was stated to be critical.
