LAHORE: Hamza Shahbaz, Chairman, Sports Board Punjab on Friday resigned from the office.
"He resigned from the Chairmanship and Punjab Chief Minister, Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif has accepted the resignation ", said an announcement of Punjab Chief Minister House here.
When asked to comment on the resignation, a top official of the Sports Board Punjab refused to make any comment. No announcement was made regarding the appointment of the new chairman.
