KARACHI: The Karachi police in their on-going drive against criminals, arrested 54 accused during the past two days.
A police statement on Wednesday said that there were seven encounters with the police and five gangs of alleged criminals were busted during the period.
It said that 36 pistols, one Kalashinkov, one repeater, one rifle, one mouser, one hand grenade, three daggers and three mobile phones recovered from the possession of the accused, the police statement further pointed out.
