NAWABSHAH: Heavy rain followed by strong dust storm lashed Nawabshah and its surroundings on Tuesday evening.
The strong winds rendered many transformers disfunctional while score of trees were uprooted.
The power supply instantly was shut down and city plunged into darkness when number of transformers blasted.
The people with fast took a sign of relief and start taking bath in rain water.
The temperature at 3 pm was recorded at 42 degrees Centigrade but it sharply dropped to 32 degrees Celsius giving effect of cold season. The rain was still falling.
