KARACHI: The problems of the teachers should be resolved on priority basis, said Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan.
He was talking to a delegation of Sindh Professors and Lecturers' Association (SPLA), which called on him at the Governor House, here on Thursday.
The delegation included provincial president, Prof. Ali Murtaza, and Karachi chief of the organization, Feroze Ahmed.
The delegation briefed the Governor regarding the problems of the college teachers in the province.
Ebad appreciated the role of the teachers towards imparting education to the younger generation.
He said that the betterment of the academic system and resolution of the problems of the teachers is the prime responsibility of the government.
