CPEC to open new era of development in country: Project Director CPEC

ISLAMABAD: The Project Director CPEC, Major General (R) Zahir Shah has said that to secure the CPEC nine thousand army troops along with six thousand personal of civil armed forces are working in special security division

While speaking in Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Programme, Zahir Shah said that after completion of CPEC project will open a new era of development for the country.

He said that tourism will get boost as a result of CPEC projects. He said owing to CPEC entire country's infrastructure will be revived.

He observed that Optic Fiber link will be completed in two years and provide modern communication facility between China and Pakistan.

The project will uplift the area by providing employment opportunities and connecting it with rest of the country, he added.
