ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Thursday invited priority lists from political parties by May 7 for filling reserved seats of local governments of Sindh.
According to ECP notification, the heads of political parties have been asked to submit priority candidate's lists for reserved seats of Women, Labours, Peasants, Youth and non-Muslims in District Councils, Municipal Committees, Town Committees, Municipal Corporation, District Municipal Corporations and Metropolitan Corporation with respective returning officers on or before May 7, 2016.
Such party lists may contain names of additional candidates also that substitutes remain available to meet any disqualification.
