KARACHI: Senior Sindh Minister for Education and Parliamentary Affairs, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said that there was a 3053 total number of registered trade unions in Sindh province.
He said this while replying to questions during questions and answers hours in Sindh Assembly session asked by PML-F MPA Nusrat Sehar Abbasi at Assembly Building on Tuesday.
"Of total, 432 trade unions were registered during 2008 to 2013 while the rest were registered previously", he said.
Replying to another question, he said that as many as 167 industrial disputes had been resolved by labour department during 2008 to 2013.
