ISLAMABAD: Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Siddiq-ul-Farooq has strongly condemned the suicide blast at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park Lahore and expressed heartfelt condolence over the loss of innocent lives.
In a statement, he sympathized with the heirs of the deceased and prayed for early recovery of the injured saying terrorists could never succeed in their nefarious designs.
He said the nation is with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in their earnest efforts to eliminate the menaces of terrorism and extremism from the country.
Meanwhile, Secretary ETPB Javed Bashir, Legal Advisor Muhammad Nasir Awan, PRO Aamir Hussain Hashmi and Sumaira Rizvi also condemned Iqbal Park blast.
