ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Sunday strongly condemned the blast incident in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park Lahore.
In a statement, he said terrorists are enemies of the state and government will not let them succeed in their nefarious designs.
The minister said such cowardly acts of terror can not weaken our resolve in a fight against terrorism and extremism, adding the whole nation stands united to root out this menace.
"The sacrifices of the people of Pakistan and our security forces would not go waste and terrorism has no place in the future of the country," Pervaiz Rashid added.
Information Minister expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
