ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (Retd) Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan reviewed the arrangements to conduct local government elections in a free, fair and transparent manner.
Chief Election Commissioner while chairing a meeting held in Islamabad on Tuesday, reviewed arrangements with regard to conduct of Local Government Elections in Islamabad Capital Territory, Radio Pakistan reported.
The CEC said it is prime duty of the election commission to conduct local government elections in ICT in a free, fair and transparent manner.
The District Returning Officer (DRO) briefed the meeting about the structure of local government in ICT, printing of ballot papers and other arrangements so far made in this regard.
