PESHAWAR: The valiant troops and security forces have thwarted the nefarious designs of terrorists who were trying to enter inside the PAF camp and attack sensitive installations, said Information Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani on Friday.
Talking to reporters here hours after terrorists attack on PAF camp on Inqialab Road in Badabar area, the Information Minister said the entire nation solute to the courage and bravery of our valiant soldiers who foiled the nefarious designs of terrorists through their bloods.
Paying rich tributes to the martyred and injured troops, the Information Minister said the entire nation highly valued their sacrifices and would never forget it.
He said operation cleanup is still underway and cordoned off area will soon be cleared. He strongly condemned the attack and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families. Ghani said there are always threat alerts as the Badhaber area is too close to FATA.
