QUETTA: Frontier Corps Balochistan foiled a sabotage bid and recovered explosives from a village in Dera Bugti, on Tuesday.
A spokesman for FC said, here on Tuesday that acting on a tip-off, FC teams raided a place in village Goth Arz Muhammad (RD-238) and recovered explosives. "The recovered explosives include 15 kg ammunition, 04 detonators and 01 remote bomb antenna," he said.
He said that the terrorists had planned to use these explosives to target the FC convoy and blow up gas pipelines. "The timely action taken by the FC personnel, the plot to carryout terrorist act has been foiled," he added. Further probe was underway.
