imageISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Shafqat Mehmood on Tuesday termed Chinese President's visit to Pakistan as historical event.

Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House he said that Pakistan-China Economic Corridor was a greatest reward for the nation and country.

He said that Pakistan has a bright future and the Pakistan- China Economic Corridor (PCEC) would bring development in the region.

Shafqat Mehmood said during the visit billions of dollar projects had been signed. "It was very encouraging that billion dollar projects had been signed but these should be implemented," he added.

He said the visit of Chinese President to Pakistan would further boost relations between two countries.
