PESHAWAR: Provincial President of PMLN Pir Sabir Shah while directing party workers for starting preparations for the local government elections said that PMLN would make a clean sweep in the upcoming LG polls due on May 30 in KP.
The PMLN would make contact with other political entities for striking electoral alliances instead of opting for solo flight in the elections he said this while addressing a meeting of the PMLN KP here at PMLN Secretariat on Tuesday.
The PMLN under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would continue to serve the country and would win the LG elections on the basis of its performance.
He said his party would fully participate in the local bodies elections and directed the party to start preparations for the same at the earliest.
The government of Nawaz Sharif, he said has started scores of mega projects which on completion would change the destiny of the nation. We will take part in the LG elections on the basis of our performance and would make a big score in KP.
Nobody can stop us from serving the masses, he said, adding conspiratorial elements would not succeed in their nefarious designs to defeat the party of the masses.
The meeting was attended among others by the PMLN MNAs, MPAs, Presidents and General Secretaries of all the districts of the province. The meeting held threadbare discussion on the LG elections and took various decisions.
The participants also gave their suggestions vis a viz local government elections.
