LAHORE: Pakistan Ulema Council chief Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi Monday said the PUC and its allied organisation Wafaqul Masajid Pakistan would observe "Youm-e-Yakjehti-e-Saudi Arabia" on April 3 to show solidarity with the brotherly country. "Seminars and gatherings will be held on Pak-Arab friendship while resolutions will be passed in favour of Saudi Arabia and Harmain Shareefain," he added.
Ashrafi said that all political and religious parties of the country were supporting the action of Saudi Arabia against Yemeni rebels.
He said that Saudi Arabia had always helped Pakistan in tough times and relationships between the both countries were based on respect.
He appreciated Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for supporting the territorial integrity and solidarity of the brotherly country.
