imageRAWALPINDI: Five-day anti-polio campaign, which began in all tehsils and towns of Pindi district entered into its fourth day on Friday. Executive District Officer (EDO) Health Dr Khalid Randhawa informed that the immunisation campaign was in full swing.

Under the ongoing vigorous drive, EDO told APP that 1696 polio teams, 95 health centers, allied hospitals and tehsil head quarter hospitals were fully participating in the drive.

During the campaign, he said over 700,000 children have so far administered the polio vaccine while 750,793 children the set target of the campaign would be achieved till March 28.

He said that polio drops were also being administered at 111 transit health centers in order to ensure that all children should be immunized below five years of age.
