PESHAWAR: District administration and traffic police in a joint operation arrested 76 persons for re-establishing encroachments from across district Peshawar.
The Deputy Commissioner (D.C) Peshawar have received complaints regarding re-emergence of encroachments after the grand anti-encroachment drive in different parts of the district including G.T. Road, University Road, Charsadda Road and some areas inside the city.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed anguish over the matter and directed A ssistant Commissioner (A.C), Peshawar, Mumtaz Ahmad, all Additional Assistant Commissioners (A.A.Cs) and traffic police for accelerating action in this regard.
The Assistant Commissioner and other officials along with heavy contingent of police visited different areas and arrested 76 persons for re-establishing encroachments.
