ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Nasir-Ul-Mulk has decided to issue notices in Urdu to facilitate the respondents and applicants.
The CJP agreed and took decision to issue the notices in national language "Urdu" on the proposal of senior SC judge Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja. Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja proposed the Chief Justice that most of the Pakistani people could not understand English and the applicants could not understand notices issued in English language.
Justice Jawwad has also proposed the Chief Justice for translation of all important cases and decisions of the apex court in English.
The Public Relations Officer confirmed that the Chief Justice by agreeing the proposal has directed the concerned top court officials to issue notices in Urdu.
