KARACHI: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman, PPP will resume the same Shaheed Benazir Bhutto (BB)'s journey from Karsaz on October 18 to complete it said PPP leaders.
Former prime ministers Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf along with other PPP leaders on Monday addressing a press briefing after Senior party leaders meeting at PPP Media Cell said that Bilawal Bhutto would address a gathering on the same day at Mazar-e-Quaid.
Gilani said that they along with PPP Chairman would complete the incomplete journey of Shaheed BB. He said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave constitution of 1973. People are eyeing Bilawal and hoped that PPP would flourish and regain its position and bring stability to the country.
At this moment PPP was playing its role as a real and responsible opposition in the parliament, he pointed out. Gilani said that terrorism and extremism were big issues that could only be resolved by a big party. He said that energy is the second issue and the issue of economy is another one which is a complicated too.
Bilawal Bhutto is pursuing the vision of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and PPP would resolve all issues including unemployment, inflation etc.
Replying to a question, he said that Javed Hashmi is only President of his party (PTI) who is contesting election in Multan independently and PPP's candidate is Dr. Javed Siddiqui.
Raja Pervez Ashraf said that BB's son is the real leader of the youth.
He said that October 18, 2007 was a black day in the history of the country when a large number of people were martyred and injured.
