KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has strongly condemned the killing of Mufti Masood Baig here on Wednesday.
In a statement, the CM expressed deep grief and sorrow over the killing of Mufti Masood, a teacher of Jamia Binoria and son-in-law of renowned religious scholar Mufti Naeem.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace to the deceased and courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
The Chief Minister has also directed the IGP, Sindh to arrest the killers of Mufti Masood without delay.
"The killing of Mufti Masood is a conspiracy to trigger religious disharmony among the people and we will foil such conspiracy", he added.
