imageISLAMABAD: River Chenab is in very high flood at Trimmu Barrage with water level 477,345 cusecs.

According to Flood Forecasting Center, the water level at Trimmu will continue rising in the next twenty-four to forty-eight hours, Radio Pakistan reported.

Low flood has been reported at Qadirabad with 93,893 cusecs water and Khanki 95,435 cusecs.

River Ravi is in high flood at Balloki with 114,075 cusecs water. Sutlej and Jhelum rivers are flowing normal.

Meanwhile, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said 299 relief camps have been established in different areas of Punjab and two in Azad Kashmir for flood affected people.

The number of affectees in Punjab is over five hundred fifty-one thousand and in AJK over thirty thousand.

The Authority said in Punjab, 1,413 houses were partially damaged and 265 completely destroyed due to floods.

In Azad Kashmir, number of partially damaged houses is 3,986 while 2,132 have been completely destroyed.

Authority says 156 people have died in Punjab and 64 in Azad Kashmir in rain and flood related incidents.

Eleven people died and five others injured in Gilgit-Baltistan in rain related incidents.
