imageISLAMABAD: The small traders and labour community of the federal capital have expressed displeasure over the sit-ins of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) that have badly hampered their businesses and routine lives.

People belonging to all walks of life have emphasized the need for a designated place in the capital for holding public meetings, rallies and long marches.

Kashif Riaz, a shopkeeper at G-7 market said that there is a growing anger and resentment among the local citizens, who see their lives paralysed in the capital due to such sit-ins. "We are greatly perturbed as it was not yet clear, as how long the sit-ins would continue," he added.

Rahat Khan, a student at a government school said that the protests have spoiled his precious study time.

Most of the parents, keeping in view the situation, have strictly advised their kids to only play indoor games rather than going out in parks and playgrounds.

Meanwhile, the employees of various offices located in the Red Zone have been facing a lot of hardships in reaching their offices due to the sit-ins of PTI and PAT.

Expressing displeasure over the sit-ins of PTI and PAT, the employees of various offices said that due to these activities, most of the people are facing problems in reaching their offices.

An employee, Ahmed Ali said that the sit-ins have created hardships not only for them but also for most of the citizens of the capital.
