VEHARI: Former federal minister, PML-N MNA Tahmeena Daultana, expressing dismay over sit-ins, said that democracy is being mocked in the country.
Talking to the media, she said that sit-ins and protests in the federal capital had pushed the country into problems. She claimed that threat to democracy had aggravated to a large extent. There was no room to accept unconstitutional demands made by any political or religious quarters, she added.
She said, the government was making every effort to succeed dialogue with leaderships of the both protesters. She said that PML-N believed in policy of tolerance and anti-aggression. Tehmeena said that now ball was in the court of 'dharna party' to end crisis.
