FAISALABAD: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) disconnected more than 200 illegal connections at Malkanwala, the area of police station Saddar.
According to SNGPL spokesman Saeed Chohan, SNGPL teams on a tip-off conducted raid at Malkhan Wala and detected massive gas pilferage there.
The raiding teams unearthed more than 200 illegal gas connections to Malkhan Wala, Tarrar Town, Baba Fareed Road and its peripheral localities.
After disconnections the officials lodged gas pilferage complaint at concerned police stations.
