ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Anusha Rahman Thursday informed the Lower House that Telecommunication Industries of Pakistan (TIP) was continuously going in loss which was the reason why it was in privatization list.
Responding to a question, the minister said at present there were 366 employees on Daily Wages/Contingent paid and on contract employment in TIP.
She said all the employees mentioned above belong to a Private Limited Company and were not in government service, therefore, their services could not be regularized and made permanent.
