ISLAMABAD: Over seventeen schemes costing an amount of over thirty billion rupees were being carried in Sindh for coal and energy development to meet the national as well as provincial energy requirements.
Radio Pakistan quoting sources said that geographic information system was being established in Thar, besides establishing communication network in the coal field in the area.
Sources informed Radio Pakistan that transmission line costing twenty two billion rupees was also being laid besides construction of link road and railway line for coal transportation.
This project will be helpful in catering to the growing energy needs of the nation.
