KARACHI: Five ships arrived at port to load/offload containers at QICT, furnace oil at FOTCO, phosphoric acid at EVTL, on Friday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 50 percent at the port on Friday where four ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.V MSC Levina, M.V Hansa Africa, M.V Rio Dela Plata, M.T Quetta, M.T Jipro Nefitis are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, furnace oil, palm oil, phosphoric acid.
Cargo handing operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume of 106060 tonnes comprising 88362 tonnes import, 17698 tonnes export and TUEs was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
M.T Al Salam II sailed on Friday afternoon. M.T Bunga Allicum sailed on saturday morning.
