KARACHI: The police have arrested 97 suspects in 73 separate targeted actions from different areas during the last 24 hours and recovered 26 weapons of different calibres from their possession.
According to an official press release issued here on Thursday, two encounters were also held with the accused.
Some of the arrested accused were involved in crimes of heinous nature including murders, kidnapping for ransom and street crimes, it said.
