KARACHI: City administration challaned 296 shopkeepers and retailers of food items and imposed a fine of Rs2,86,700 for fleecing people under varied pretext, mainly profiteering.
According to details made available by Karachi Commissioner office on Tuesday they included 67 milk sellers, 48 fruit vendors, 115 green grocers, 149 grocers, 14 chicken meat sellers and one flour miller.
